The BBYRA was founded in 1914 and is a Regional Sailing Association (RSA) of 14 sailing yacht clubs located around the waters of Barnegat Bay in New Jersey. They host an active one-design sailing championship race series each summer and coordinate many other sailing and related events in the area.

While the Club is centered around yacht racing, members also have an active social calendar. Dances and dinners are held on a regular basis.

MYC is a vibrant, family oriented, private sailing club. It is well-known for its long tradition of sailboat racing and its highly regarded junior sailing program. Established in 1907, their members' are commitment to the sport speaks for itself. The Club operates seasonally from May to October with a full calendar of tennis, sailing and social events for its members.

They offer numerous opportunities for sailors and boaters, including informal races at the club on Sundays and Wednesdays, competitive racing on Saturday through the BBYRA and other regattas, and informal cruises and events for sailors and boaters alike. The club also has a modern marina for members with slips ranging in size to over 60'. It is a great place to relax, meet new friends and enjoy all that summer has to offer.

Established in 1871, the club enjoys a rich legacy at the Jersey Shore. From its first regatta on July 26, 1871, TRYC has championed the sport of sailing and now hosts local, national, and international events. It also runs one of the finest junior sailing programs in the area, making the sport fun and accessible to kids of all ages.

For over a century Bay Head Yacht Club has stood steadfast at the northern head of the Barnegat Bay. Despite notable challenges, the Club's leadership has continuously provided a family centric atmosphere, devoted to championing athletic excellence and fostering long term multi generational friendships.

Since the founding at the turn of the twentieth century, the Lavallette Yacht Club has evolved into a dynamic sailing club steeped in a proud history. The Club offers facilities that rank with the best on Barnegat Bay and many of the Bay’s most successful sailors are the products of LYC.

The club remains true to its original purpose of fostering sailing and athletic competition on the water by offering a summer sailing school for both children and adults and by participating in various sailboat races
and events.

First opening in 1941, the club and the clubhouse have undergone a lot of change. In 2012 during Tropical Storm Sandy the entire club house was lost and officially reopened in 2019. Today the club serves its very active and diverse membership needs by providing various club programs, events, and facilities.

Established in 1939, the Beachwood Yacht Club is rich with sailing history. From being the "little club up the river" to instructing first-class sailors, the Beachwood Yacht Club offers a youth sailing program second to none. Its members enjoy working together to create an atmosphere of warmth and friendship.

MRYC was created with the stated purpose “to promote yachting and other sports on the Manasquan River, and to provide social entertainment for the members.” Boating and racing - both sailboats and motorboats - as well as tennis and socializing were the heart of the club from the very beginning and remain as today

The Foundation was formed in 2003 for the purpose of preserving, protecting and advancing the traditions of recreational sailing in and around the Borough of Island Heights, on the Toms River and Barnegat Bay, all of which are located within Ocean County, New Jersey. The Foundation’s primary aim is to facilitate the education of children and promote the advancement of sailing, sportsmanship and on-water safety through the support of youth programs in the Barnegat Bay area.

The OCC sailing club is open to all full time OCC students. No experience is necessary to join!
